Ultraviolet

I wanted to take my son to the cinema to see Ice Age 2 and then I saw that they were showing it along with UltraViolet and I am having double thoughts now after reading the review. It does not seem to be a movie for kids. If you watched the movie, please add your review here.

I would say that Ultraviolet is definitely not a kiddie movie, and why they would decide to double it with Ice Age 2 is beyond me. I had thought about seeing this movie myself, but it really flopped here in the US and didn't last very long. It stars Milla Jojovich of Resident Evil fame and seems to be very, very violent. The special effects though seemed very impressive from the previews, so I'd still like to see it some day.

I saw it some time ago. I would say it is an OK movie. It is more full of color and Matrix like theatrics than a real quality script and acting. The movie critics were much harder on this film, I believe it actually flopped in the US.

I liked this movie and have watched it more than once. Granted I have the pay channels like HBO and Skinamax on my cable so I see a lot of movies. I would say that this is not a movie to take a child. I would allow my teens to see if once they reach 17.

I would give the movie 3 orange stars
