Media Ignores Mass Killings of American Indians in Its Reporting:

American Indians say that the media failed to consider Wounded Knee where some 300 men, women and children were killed a few days after Christmas in 1890. Ref. Source 5d.

They're right! If we are going to establish a record then we may as well include the brutality against the American Indians, lots of statistics there.

A few things to think on.

First, the American Indians were here before America was established and despite whatever label may be introduced, nothing really describes them adequately. Maybe the First Nation is the best selection.

Second, the Americans took away the freedoms and livelihoods of Native Americans. As a country, a nation, a people, we are likely responsible for the largest genocide, prior to 1880.

Third, this all comes back to understanding or the unwillingness to understand and the ability to adapt and integrate ideas.
