Are there specific lawyers that deal with pre-foreclosure problems?

After some quick research I found that there are lawyers that have specialized in this and the seem also to be heavily involved with reducing interest rates on debt. many real estate companies also seem to have something called pre-foreclosure specialist not lawyers but I think Sales agents who have upgraded and specialized int this law as consultants.

There are companies out there that act as brokers to resolve foreclosure issues. They will work with the homeowner to either find a lender willing to refinance their mortgage (at a premium rate) to halt the foreclosure or they will find a buyer willing to buy the existing mortgage. Some of them will also find a buyer for the home if that is the direction the homeowner wants to go. If you do a search for "stop foreclosure" or "foreclosure help". you should find many options. You do need to be careful because, as in any business, some will charge exorbitant fees up front and not do much for you. You really need to check them out. They all charge fees, but some are more reasonable than others. And if a homeowner is facing losing their home, sometimes the fee is the lesser of evils.

Many banks have lawyers who do a lot of different things for them. Pre-foreclosure is one of the issues that some people have especially nowadays with everything going on. I believe most banks, lawyers and others will work with people so they can keep their homes and the banks get the money owed to them through the mortgage.

It would be their financial expert that you would work with you not a lawyer or am I mistaken? I agree they stand to loose a great amount if people bail on mortgages as the house value is too low.
