Elder Russell M. Nelson

After a bit more than a year of his wife's death, Elder Russel M. Nelson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles marries Wendy L. Watson. This is Sis. Watson's first marriage.

Elder Russell M. Nelson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Wendy L. Watson were married today (April 6th) in the Salt Lake Temple.
Wendy L. Watson, originally of Raymond, Alberta, Canada, is the daughter of the late Leonard David and Laura McLean Watson. She is a professor of marriage and family therapy in the School of Family Life at Brigham Young University (BYU) and will retire 1 May 2006. Source

That is interesting. I am always curious to know things, like - did they "date" like you do when your younger, or did they just know each other really well from other things? I mean, how does an apostle do it, he has so little time it seems. That is neat for her - she was never married and had no children, and now she has 10 children, 56 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren!

Now I am just waiting for Sheri Dew to find an amazing man to marry, too! But even if she doesn't, she seems to have enough spiritual strength to make it to the next life before getting married.
