A teen was arrested and charged with murder related charges after allegedly killing his school principal, according to police reports in Tennessee.
Now, the teen has pleaded guilty to the charges.
Memphis Police said that a local teenager, who studied combat and sharpened a knife the night before he fatally stabbed his high school principal, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on Tuesday.
Eduardo Marmolejo, 18, admitted to the charges before Criminal Court Judge W. Mark Ward, who accepted a plea agreement and sentenced the teen to 35 years in jail without parole. The teen apologized to the family of Suzette York, whom he repeatedly stabbed and left her in a pool of blood in a classroom.
"I apologize for my bad behavior," Marmolejo said. "I'm not the same man I used to be. I'm a better man," He said.
