Jeff Introduction

biggrin.gif Well, here goes... My name is Jeff I'm 19 years old and going to school at CCAC. I want to be a high school english literature teacher. Why? might you ask. Because I think that teenagers of the high school level are the most likely to enjoy an in depth conversation and can be greatly influenced by literature if it is taught well. Not to mention that fact that I LOVE reading. More particullarly I love reading fantasy. I have not been able to read for the past year though due to a very rigorous schedule of school, work, girlfriend, family, and friends. I find myself more at the computer then with my nose in a book so I figured that this sites RPG's might satisfy my hunger for fantasy. In the outside world I am a healthy cross between a geek and an athlete. I play videogames and D&D with my buddies, but we also play games of pick-up football and do some mild backyard wrestling. I practice martial arts and I practice at Super Smash Bros. Melee. So like I said I think that I am a healthy balance between geek and athlete. I listen to EVERYTHING when it comes to music. I know a lot of people say that but I really do. My CD collection in my car consist of Death metal, heavy metal, rock n' roll (80's), alternative, rap, techno, and my radio stations cover hip hop, blues, classical, and country (in my opinion the only good country is on the radio). Those are all the styles that come to mind right now that I have with me. I am basically a very open person I follow no religion other than I believe in SOMETHING what that something is I do not know. My mom was christian and my sister is a wiccan. Any who think that the wiccan religion is satan worship need come speak to me and I shall help you to understand the HUGE differences between wiccans and satan worshipers they have nothing in common. Most of my friends follow some sort of Catholicism and my girlfriend is Muslim so I have a very wide range of experience and have not found any specific one as a favorite. I love to do just about anything as long as it some how introduces some kind of participation/ interactive activity. In other words I hate just sitting there listening and doing nothing or taking notes. There is plenty more I could say however I fear if I make this any longer no one will want to read it. Thanks
-jeff aka SiN

Introduction Jeff

I am very enthusiastic about your religious perspective. You have a unique family in which several different religions converge in one place, and then you hold to none of them. I look forward to discussing much with you.

Jeff Introduction

Dear Konquererz,

I thank you for your interest in my religious views Konquerez. I see that you to are agnostic. How does this come to be? For me it is simply a belief that a religion doesn't matter but rather it is how you treat people. I think that a good person will be rewarded even if it is a long time in coming ie. karma. I also think that thier is something more to a human body than simply bones, tissue, and organs. Thier is far to many differences between people or even animals to justify having no "soul" if you will. However I am not totally convinced that there is an afterlife either. In physics it is stated that matter can niether be destroyed or created and if you do some research you discover that when a person dies they lose 21 grams of unexplained wieght. Now if you are into Jungian psycology, which I am not totally into I just know a little bit about it, you will know about the collective unconcious. It is basically a pool of everyones thoughts on the planet that covers all of the world and anyone can tap into it. Usually its done by accident. I think that our "soul" becomes part of this pool when we die and that we MAY be reincarnated. I am still not totally convinced but this is one of the many ideas that I have. Please let me know what you think. I would love an opinion as well as some other views/ ideas on the topic.

Dear FarSeer,

I thank you for your warm welcome to this community. I have not met many people as of yet but all that I have met have treated me with the utmost kindness.
Since you appear to know your way around and have read my intro maybe you could point me to some topic boards that would be of intrest to me. I would be much abliged smile.gif
Thank you again for your welcome.
