Houston Rockets center Yao Ming had surgery Friday to repair a broken bone in his left foot. Yao broke the fifth metatarsal in his foot in a loss to Utah on Monday |
If there was going to be a major injury, this was the year. Yao was playing by himself most of the time because the Rockets have failed to build a good team around him. However, it will take time to see what kind of impact this has on Yao's career and the future of the Rockets.
This has to be good news for Rocket fans everywhere. Now only if McGrady can stay healthy next season, and Juwan Howard can contribute like he used too.
