SMF Not Working With Php 7

Comments: I like SMF but until my host decided to change to PHP 7.2 I've been getting lots of errors. Why isn't SMF not working with PHP 7.2?

SMF 2.0.15 will work with PHP 7.2. The errors will not stop SMF from functioning but may irritate your log. You will not get the error messages on PHP 7.1.There is a build that fixes the error messages. I have installed it and it cleared up my log. Note, any Mods you have installed will also need to be PHP 7.2 compliant as well.

Comments: They've reached SMF 2.0.17 and still haven't gotten passed PHP 7.1 without causing a lot of errors like the create_function.

There are Github fixes for that which worked for me. The errors themselves will not cause any adverse effects to functionality.
What I have found is the modifications are not kept up to date and often fail by causing white screens on PHP7. Users will blame SMF when its really a mod.
