Russian gang stole 1.2 billion Net passwords
Security researchers say a Russian crime ring has pulled off the largest known theft of confidential Internet information including 1.2 billion username and password combinations and more than 500 million email addresses. Ref. USAToday
Its ridiculous to pay $120 a year just to know if my password was hacked and that's just from those hackers willing to publish it, what about those who don't? Big websites need to come up with a better way to secure their servers.
Russia says spyware found in state computer networks:
