A 10-year-old Purcell, Oklahoma, girl was the victim of a horrific plan of kidnap, rape, torture and cannibalism, authorities said Saturday.

I feel so sorry for the girl's family. It is really disturbing some of the people that live and work among us. This is one of the reasons I wanted to move out of an apartment complex, because people are so close by and a lot of the time you don't even know who they are. It's not that living in a house is any safer, but at least there is some distance between people. My prayers are with the family as they deal with this tragic loss.
