The Barrier

Most participants in a NDE claim to meet The Barrier, a place where there is a separation between them and not being able to return to their body. They claim that a river, mountain, road, bridge or other item would distinguish their ability to just peek or permanently remain in the next life. Did you experience this?

I have never heard about this, JB -- could you please provide some more information? I have read multiple recountings of people being asked if they wanted to stay or return to their bodies. "The Barrier" is something in which I know nothing, but I'd be really interested in finding out more about this.

The Barrier Paranormal & Mystics Dreams Studies

This is mentioned only in some NDEs. Keep in mind that not everyone who has a NDE, has the same experience, nor what may be the actual barrier - appear as a barrier to them. For instance, someone being told "You can't go there yet" is a barrier, and most times the person within the NDE just follows the guide - probably those who do not end up staying on the other side permanently.
