Diego, Manny and Sid return in this sequel to the hit Ice Age. This time around the Ice Age is over and is starting to melt, which will destroy their valley. So they must unite and warn everyone about the situation.

Meltdown Age Ice

We took Felipe to see this movie today and he was having a riot with the movements of the oversized squirrel and his acorn. I thought the film was pretty good and matched the same level of entertainment value of the first. I was surprised about the adult based jokes between Manny and Ellie, luckily it is done in a way that children may not catch on.

Scrat rocked my world! He was so much funnier in this movie than he was in the second. I laughed so hard.

The thing that disapointed me was the use of profanity. They took the Shrek approach and used profanity in a technical way, so it wasn't a "curse word" but they added the twist to make it sound profane. I don't know if that made sense to anybody but me.
