Christ's Bloodstained Cloak - Page 2

When Christ was handled by Judas Escariot, and kissed on the cheek he would have needed to have his hands on Jesus' shoulders. He would have noticed his hands covered in blood. Then when the guards arrested him surely they most have touched his cloths, why didn't any of them say anything about the blood.

Like I said I don't know if I saw a vision or what. This is just something that struck my mind has odd.

Cloak Bloodstained Christs

QUOTE (JB @ 29-Oct 06, 5:33 PM)
The part I find interesting is that the Roman soldiers casted lots for His garments when he was ending His time on / near the cross. This means that his garments must have had a value or could have been given to him during several stages of the day (in other words he was stripped of His clothes and given others).

Could this casting of lots been out of mockery? I remember reading about it but for some reason always thought that was why they did it. As if he was a "real king" in their mind it would be of value....

I have often thought about the situation with the cloak and the drops of blood. I would think it would be those items of clothing closest to his body (or pores) to be stained.
