Has anyone come from the era of "Chainmail Rules For Medieval Miniatures" By Gary Gygax and Jeff Perren from around 1971? The book Chainmail Rules For Medieval Miniatures governed wide scale battles for miniatures and was not meant for role-play but out of it came the Dungeons & Dragons we know today.

I have not seen it done but I'm sure someone will be creative enough to do it. Remember this version of Chainmail was based on large numbers of miniatures and not individual role-play.
