Anyone who was there for BlackOps and had a friend with the 360 version knows we got screwed. From the beginning on through the end. Now the company's doing alot more and they're trying to repair their credibility but I'm not buying into the BS.
MW3 is coming out later this year. I will not buy it. There are better shooters out there with teams that are working ALOT harder to make sure their game is the next MW killer. They deserve alot more than Treyarch/Atari/ect. Who put out an unequal game at an equal price and then rushed around, not until JUST RECENTLY, to get it semi-up to par.
What do you think?
I don't think a game, even one as iconic as MW has become, being boycotted would really accomplish anything. For one thing, Treyarch won't be making MW3, Infinity Ward will, just as they have every other MW game. The reason Black Ops seems screwed for PS3 owners, is for the plain and simple fact that Treyarch is notoriously lazy when it comes to programming translation. They wrote the initial program for the XBox 360, because it's easier for them to program on the DirectX 9 protocols, it isn't as complicated as the Sony PlayStation OS. Then, they build a program translator to simply reorient it from the 360 OS to PS3 OS language. As we have all seen, A LOT is lost in translation, pardon the pun. So, in closing, there is no reason to attempt to "punish" Infinity Ward, the makers of every Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game, for what Treyarch, original makers of Call of Duty, World at War, and Black Ops, did. If anything, boycott Treyarch when they release their next attempt at a CoD game next year.
