Greetings and Salutations:
I'm here because I clicked on a member's profile in a discussion forum for single adult members of the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints (I.e., the so-called "Mormon" church).
I wanted to learn more about her because I disagreed with something she'd said, and it might help me to figure out why she thinks the way she does.
Typical of females, she gave NO information at all in her personal profile, but she did provide a link to this discussion group, which piqued my interest.
I learned a couple of other things about her.
The other link in her profile led to a web site for activities in Southern California for Latter-day Saint single adults, indicating she probably resides in that area.
In perusing this web site, I see lots of references to Latter-day Saints, which indicates she is probably the moderator here.
I also saw a reference to "Native American", a term I find very offensive, which tells me a little more about her and her way of thinking.
As for me, I have no secrets, not even a secret identity.
By using Google or any other search engine, you can easily find out all about me on the Internet, as I have a web site and a blog, which are accessible to all.
I'm a sixty year old divorced white male, an "undiscovered" amateur singer/songwriter, a convert in the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints, served a full-time Church mission guarding a cattle ranch in Utah, served in the United States Army with two years service in the Republic of Viet Nam with the 101st Airborne "Screaming Eagles", and I'm currently the official bard of my Scottish clan.
I am a prejudiced white man, and I make no apology for my personal beliefs.
I consider the concept of "political correctness" to be Marxist and Satanic, and I will ardently oppose it at every opportunity.
I staunchly defend the "CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES", and the concept of "inalienable rights".
I firmly believe that every citizen has a sacred duty to wear a loaded firearm every place they go, even in church or school, and even in airplanes.
Laws which restrict anyone's inalienable right to be armed are immoral and unconstitutional.
No one has the right to compel people to become helpless victims, everybody has a duty to resist evil, and therefore, must have the means.
One of my favorite quotes is by British statesman, Edmund Burke (1729 - 1797), "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."
I believe we are our brother's keeper.
I believe violence is justifiable in some cases.
I believe we are supposed to resist tyranny from our own government.
There are already too many laws, and most of those laws are unconstitutional.
With so many laws, it has now become virtually impossible to do or say anything without unintentionally or accidentally being in violation of some law.
I find that reading the news has evolved into an art form, for we have to guess at what the truth is, as we struggle to discern what it is we're not being told, and why it is the story is presented as it is (I.e., "spin control").
The Internet appears to be the last bastion of free expression, but even that has its restrictions, as so many moderators unfortunately subscribe to popular fashion and unthinkingly impose the evils of "political correctness".
Of course, I still have my personal blog, where I can say what I please.
But, how long will that last?
After all, in the World we now live in, my opinions are the MOST controversial, because I am a prejudiced white man.
Well, I reckon I've about said all there is to say, so I'll just quit for now.
Since the instructions say not to identify myself, I won't sign my name, which is what I normally would do.
Frankly, I despise those who cravenly refrain from identifying themselves on the Internet, especially when posting personal opinions.
Thank you.
