Do you see someone blowing their own trumpet for something that equals just a moment of time in an eternity of Arcade playing within the Matrix? If so, bring it to our attention here.

Yes, I know someone like this... *cough* Konquererz *cough*, he was Arcade Champion for a total of two weeks, but yet is tooting as though it were eons. Right now he in third place and cannot redeem himself.

Added to this list now is Bwren. His reign lasted for about the same length of time as Konqererz. As they say... 'Here today gone tomorrow' - we bid him farewell and wish him the best of his 15 minutes of fame.

Well JB, I think you should start a thread of 2 minutes of fame (if that much) since Bwren fits perfectly that description. laugh.gif

Nah, two minutes just might make them have a nervous break down. I think the new way the Arcade shows your picture and position is enough to tell us what skills each person has and who just talks without having any meat behind their words.

I also see Konquererz on his way out of the Top three making redemption almost impossible at this stage - poor guy, and just when I thought he might have had just as much skill as Felipe.

It is amazing that when things get hot, these people do not say a word laugh.gif Kon will soon taste what it feels to be kicked out by another woman. 15 minutes of fame is way too much for these two gentlemen. *smile*

15 Minutes Fame

I know what its like to be beaten by a woman LDS, I'm married! laugh.gif

However, fifteen minutes of fame doesn't give proper props. I did in fact keep it for an entire two weeks. Most people live for fifteen minutes, but I had two weeks. Besides, you shouldn't gloat to much, its obviously a family trait to be good at video games.

You have to remember, for a year+ long champion such as myself (in all humility of course - not) two weeks is like five minutes for me - it has no significance, no impact, the real glory is when you earn your crowns and then fight to keep them. That is what made people like Ali (boxer) so liked... no one could beat him.
