Milwaukee Brewers

The Brewers have a very beautiful ballpark in Miller Park. That is about all that has gone well for the team recently. The Brewers have not been to a playoff series since 1982, which was their only visit to the playoffs. Needless to say they have no World Series Championships either. Recently, their problem has been bringing in good talent, and if they do bring in someone decent, they are unable to keep them long term. Richie Sexson was a prime example of this. He languished in Milwaukee for as long as he could, and finally went to Seattle two years ago because he couldn't wait any longer. If the Brewers want to contend in the MLB, they will need to figure out who they want to build a team around, and how to keep that person in town.

There isn't much in Milwaukee in general. The Brewers haven't had much of team for a long time. The Brewers have to look to their history for their baseball pride, having retired five greats in their history.
