The kind of people who would want to invest in something like this won't have $2500 to spend on it. Not very practical in my opinion.

The best logical reason I can see this bed selling to anyone would be for space concerns, perhaps in a small apartment. I know in my first apartment I had little to no room for anything much less a desk. I used my small dining room table for my computer which I had to set in the floor if I wanted to eat at the table. As already mentioned it is rather pricey but in my case I might could have found the money for the sheer convenience of it.

If space is a problem it might be better to use the US$2,500 to get a better place to live where your furniture does not have to cost that much!
