I perform the aid another action on heal checks from any more skilled healer than myself:
2 checks just in case, in order shown:
6+4=10 (= success, +2 on a heal check)
5+4=9 (=failure, no bonus granted, but still helping!)
Out of Character: I'd love to post 2/day but the some of our players are a bit inactive
Resfrix follows Twilek to Ameiko's unconscious body. Seeing that Tsuto was hurt badly and unconscious as well on the way by to help Ameiko, Resfrix drags Tsuto's body closer to Ameiko but leaving him out in the hall, and channels his energy. The air shimmers with power and Ameiko and Tsuto begin to stir.
Ameiko is distraught at her brother's treachery. She tells Twilek, Resfrix, and Ian that Tsuto revealed to Ameiko that he and several other mercenaries were led by Nualia and hinted that she's got big plans for Sandpoint's future. Tsuto warned Ameiko that she didn't want to be in town when those plans came through, and offered her a chance to join his group at Thistletop. Ameiko recoiled at the suggestion and slapped her brother in shock that he"d sunk to such a low. He responded by unleashing his goblins on her. They overwhelmed her and left her here. She's grateful for the groups rescue, but is eager to leave and warn her father Lonjiku.
Gorion takes it upon himself to search Tsuto and relieve him of his possessions. Finding a composite Short bow, a ring, masterwork thieves" tools, masterwork flute, silver earrings, journal, § pouches of gold dust, pouches of silver dust, 50 platinum pieces. Salius looks at the journal and asks to see it. Gorion hands it over and Salius leafs through it. His eye's open wide in shock and gasps.
Tsuto's journal likely proves a valuable source of information. This small, leather-bound booklet contains two dozen parchment pages, most of which Tsuto has filled with maps of Sandpoint or erotic drawings of Nualia. (Who can be recognized as the presumed-dead adopted daughter of Father Tobyn.) The maps each depict different attack plans. The first set shows the attack plans for a group of thirty goblins- one of these battle maps is circled, and the hero's should recognize it as the attack the goblins made on Sandpoint at the start of the their adventure. Of more pressing concern are the next several pages, which illustrate an assault on Sandpoint by a force of what appears to be two hundred goblins. None of these are circled, and while many are scratched out as if they"ve been rejected, the implications should be ominous nonetheless. Most of the drawings of Nualia do not depict her with her demonic hand, although one on the last pages of the book depicts her with demonic hands, bat wings, horns, a forked tail, and fangs. Three short passages in the notebook contain information of importance to the new hero's.
(Written after the circled battle map.)
The raid went as planned. Few Thistletop goblins perished, and we were able to secure Tobyn's casket with ease while the rubes were distracted by the rest. I can't wait until the real raid. This town deserves a burning, that's for sure.
(Written after the last of the second batch of maps.)
Ripnugget seems to favor the overwhelming land approach, but I don't think it's the best plan. We should get the quasit's aid. Send her freaks up from below via the smuggling tunnel in my fathers Glassworks, and then invade from the river and from the Glassworks in smaller but more focused strikes. The rest except Bruthazmus agree, and I'm pretty sure the bugbear's just being contrary to annoy me. My love's too distracted with the lower chambers to make a decision. Say's that once Malfeshnekor's released and under her command, we won't need to worry about being subtle. I hope she's right.
(Written before the last illustration depicting Nualia as a succubus.)
My love seems bent on going through with it - nothing I can say convinces her of her beauty. She remains obsessed with removing what she calls her 'celestial taint' and replacing it with her Mother's grace. Burning her fathers remains at the Thistletop shrine seems to have started the transformation, but I can't say her new hand is pleasing to me. Hopefully when she offers Sandpoint to Lamashtu's fires, her new body won't be as hideous. Maybe I'll luck out. Succubi are demons too aren't they?
Out of Character:: Sorry it took so long but I had a lot of information to gather and characters to npc. It was almost like writing a chapter to a book. I am also trying to update my character sheets for Gorion's and Salius's characters, as they are now level two. I had hoped that they would post so that I did not have to decipher their actions for myself. I know what is going to happen and wanted the players themselves to look for and find the information. I almost feel that it is unfair that I even npc any characters in this scenario, with the out of character knowledge that I have.
Resfrix healed everyone for 4 points of damage.

"Guys, you know what this means right? We must head to Thistletop at once and bring the fight to them! Let's ambush them and put an end to their plans. Perhaps we might even find that half-succubus girl and bring justice to her!"
I immediately help ameiko up and carry (Or help her walk if she wants to) to her inn or to a healer (I suppose that would either be Hanna the herbalist or Father Zantus)
On the way I ask her: "Tell me young maiden, do you wish to be transported to a healer or to your inn? I promise I will take care of you."
If necessary, I perform a heal check: 12+4=16
Out of Character: Come on people, I was waiting on your actions 'cause I felt like my char wouldn't be the first to take the initiative but you're all so inactive!
Twilek looks at the journal in horror, just as Salius did. He then looks to Tsuto, helplessly bound. "Poor kid, always alone in town with nobody to talk to. He sure has fallen far. I can't blame him for what he did, but he still has to be punished for his crime.
"I think that before we go and attack the Thistletop tribe, we ought to seal off this building. Let's inform the guards of what we know and throw Tsuto in a cell."
He adds in an ominous tone, "Then we buy gear and hunt demons. Are you all with me?"
Gorion, Salius, and Resfrix nod their agreement. "We will take Tsuto to a cell, You Resfrix, and Ian can take care of Ameiko. Make sure you search the basement well before you leave, we searched up stairs." Gorion says to Twilek before him and Salius depart to escort Tsuto to a cell.
Out of Character:: Hey guys don't forget that Ameiko's father is dead and cased in glass, surely Ameiko will notice that on the way out. (No one has told her yet.)
I know it's a lot to decide on your own, but please be descriptive in what the two of you decide. (Twilek and Ian) Essentially you two are the decision makers for the party at this point. I can npc the other characters due to a lack of participation to see if they return, but I will be following your lead. If It takes any longer then a week then I will take them out of play, and we will assume they are in town but doing nothing. If either of you are interested in playing two characters please submit one for approval.
"Ameiko, there is something that I promise I will let you know as soon as we are in your inn but for now I want you to avoid it by closing your eyes for me. I want.. -need- you to trust me!"
Diplomacy: 14+1=15
"Friends, I cannot stand and search while this young lady is in this condition. It's best for her to rest. After that, meet here. Let's search the place for additional clues, for tomorrow we are headed for Thistletop!"
Knowledge local for Thistletop: 14+6=20
Knowledge geography for Thistletop: 7+5=12
I want to know any rumors about the place, as well as its geographical location and basic description.
After I take Ameiko in the inn I will shortly explain to anyone asking me what happened and then sit with the girl and explain the fate of her father to her, after ensuring we are in a place where she feels a bit more "Warm". I do my best to comfort her in case she breaks.
Dimplomacy: 12+1=13
I personally ask for Twilek to be with us while this is being told to her, assuming he might be able to calm her better than me (Perhaps inspire courage in the background while I explain to her).
As soon as this is taken care of I ask for a warm drink like tea, share a cup with Twilek and Ameiko while being as empathising and honest as I can. Then I leave immediately to find my room. I take about 10 minutes to write the following letter in my native tongue, Varisian, using the writing materials I purchased earlier:
Dearest Seleen,
I hope my letter to you reaches you well. I have some news that need sharing! My quest has given me the opportunity to fight some of those horrid little creatures. Fortunately I have been able to emerge victorious on all occasions, without a single scratch! The people of Sandpoint are in great need of help and I'm here to give it! Now I'm writing this here letter to let you know that the situation at hand has lead me into taking a very big decision. It is time for me to go on my first real adventure, from where I may not return. I am on my way to Thistletop, along with a group of brave and skilled comrades at my side. I wish you the best and all the safety in the world, may Desna protect you and me alike in these times of bloodshed! If I do return, I will be expecting your answer like the meadow expects the rain..!
I kiss you in your lips and forehead and pray to the gods that I will see you again one day.
-Ian
I then prepare myself by getting ready for whatever I have to do in town before I leave. After all this I ask for Twilek to come with me as I leave the inn and head to Hanna the town herbalist and secondary healer(?). I greet the woman and ask her for the cost of medical and magical healing supplies, as well as the cost for these. I mentally note down their price for future reference and bid her farewell.
Knowledge local to know where I could find a messenger for the Sandpoint Hinterlands: 11+6=17
I search for a messenger and hand him the letter, as well as his payment, and give him a short description of the house where Seleen lives. I pay him an additional 2 copper to ensure the letter reaches her well and quickly. (By doing a rough calculation on the map and referring to the CRB for the cost of the service, I found that it should be around 8 copper.) Adding the 2 additional I gave, I hand out 10cp to the messenger and then ask Twilek what else he would like to do before we rest for the night.
Twilek tells Ian he will be right at the inn in a short while. He heads off holding his lit Wayfinder to thoroughly search every inch of the building for possible entrances. If he finds any, he will have a cursory look inside before sealing it off with rubble or the barrels or crates lying around.
Taking 20
Perception: 25
A while later, he heads off to the Rusty Dragon to find Ian. He sits next to Ameiko and puts his arm on her shoulder to comfort her and begins, "There's no easy way to put this..." He lets Ian talk but assists with the hard parts and comforts Ameiko.
Diplomacy Assist: 18 +1 = 19
Ian's roll is at +4
When Ian walks off, Twilek stays by her side and leads her to a room or back to her manor if she prefers.
Twilek suggests to Ian to visit the bookstore and read up on demons if he has time before sunset.
