Pathfinder is taken by surprise with the appearance of the wolf but she also manages to remain focused on the goblins trying to escape.
"You're not getting away that easily!" She shouts as she fires 2 bolts again.
Pathfinder Attack roll 1d20: 11+2=10
Pathfinder Attack roll 1d20: 11+2=7
Out of Character: I didn't bother to put damage because I guess those were both misses considering 13 was a miss.
She kicks the dust under her feet and curses her misses.
Out of Character: At Pathfinder: As a friendly reminder, you should roll for damage no matter the result of an attack, except for a nat 1. There are many modifier's to one's AC. For example, a running creature without the "Run" Feat loses its [Dexterity] bonus to AC while running!
Also, not all attacks are actual misses, even if they are referred to as misses for ease of play. Depending on the result compared to your opponent's various AC bonuses, an attack can be anything from a miss, to a dodge, parry, block, deflect or even just hitting and sticking in one's armor! *smile*
In Character:
Ian: As I rest for the night, I take mental notes on the most important clues and events, and try to plan tomorrow.
Erdoshanta: Using speak with animals: "Stop attacking them, and memorize their smell! I will need you to track them down later! Come here and claim your reward for being a good boy!"
I use only a small portion of the daily animal feed found on my inventory, which would make sense for it to be some sort of salted preserved meat, as axebeaks are carnivorous. I toss on the ground next to me, and after I dismount Mazzranache I give him a small portion as well. As I gently pat him on the side of his head, I turn to the elf.
Erdoshanta is a weird looking, super serious and cold gnome, with pale skin and silver hair, which is contradictory to what normal gnomes are, which is colorful and playful flamboyant creatures.
"Don't be scared, elf. [pause] I can see you can handle a crossbow quite well, but it looks like you could be taught a little more on remaining calm in order to use your skill, training and knowledge in actual combat."

The two remaining goblins get away. Pathfinder and Erdoshanta meet face to face.
Out of Character:: Role play out your meeting and when I have new actions as to what your plans are next I will update the game.
You both receive 200 exp.
Ian: Sleeping [..]
Erdoshanta: As I pet the wild wolf, which will remain for another hour before he no longer feels the magical urge to follow me and will return to its natural habitat (Yeah wild empathy freaking rocks!), I wish to say something to the wolf, just before Pathfinder manages to approach:
"Do you have little cubs? I have more food for them if you want. Where is your pack?"
Pathfinder becomes angry that the two get away. The first thing she does is recover all the bolts that missed and guts goblins to get the rest.
In this process she is checking out Erdoshanta to see if there is something more to this gnome that should leave her uneasy. Then again the gnome was using magicks against the goblins so that means she is a friend or at least that is how Pathfinder sums the whole situation.
"Hallo" She says in passing as she rips up a goblin for her bolt.
"What [Yes] be doing in these parts? And to where do you go?"
The wolf licks Erdoshanta giving her thanks. Erdoshanta gets the feeling that this wolf and her pack are healthy and doing fine. Pathfinder says her greeting to Erdoshanta as she collects her lost bolts. One is completely broken beyond repair, but she finds the rest in good condition.
Out of Character:: Pathfinder minus one bolt from your inventory.

Pathfinder shakes her head at the lost bolt. At least it served a worthy purpose she thinks as she becomes more acquainted with the strange gnome who says something she does not understand.
She then deliberates if she should try and look for the runaway goblins.
"Should we try to follow?"
Erdoshanta speaks in a cold, serious tone:
"Goblins always live in big tribes. Following those two will most probably lead us to a swift death. My little friend here has already memorized the scent of them. We may return if necessary, but I don't find it anywhere near that important to my interests. [pause] I heard there's trouble in Sandpoint. Coordinated goblin attacks. These menacing little creatures have gone out of hiding and trash eating, and are now attacking and raiding."
