Out of Character:: Icon, Johnathan had posted twice in the last round, so I used his first post.

IN GAME: Twilek lets fly two more bullets from his sling and hits with both. Resfrix draws his sword to attack and misses. Pathfinder shoots two more bolts and hits with the first and misses with her second as the beast falls to the ground. Mazzranache attacks with the opportunity and and strikes hard. The monster is dead. What will the hero's do now?

"Finally" She says enthusiastically that at least one of her bolts made it. Pathfinder retrieves her bolts and then carefully examines the creature with her torch keeping her crossbow aimed at it in case it suddenly gets up again. If nothing much is to be found she will examine the rest of the area.

Twilek approaches the body, poking it with a spare dagger. He will try to determine what he knows about the creature and where they tend to live or be encountered by others in history. (Knowledge check last page)

He assist Pathfinder in examining the creature, searching it, then cutting away slices to reveal its insides, while holding a cloth over his mouth.

I need perception checks, for the sake of keeping the game moving along, everyone please include a perception check with each post.

Icon I tried to find out a DC for finding out what the creature is but couldn't. I'm sure it is undoubtedly high so I'm going to say that you where unable to discern what the creature was.
