Out of Character: How come we know the whole layout of this place, did I miss someone having a map?
In Character: Pathfinder studies the two directions and listens for anything unusual coming from each. She does not say in which direction to go as she prefers a secondary role in this environment.
Out of Character:: You do not have a map, I'm just trying to make it easier for the party to choose a direction from what you can see from where you are. In game you don't know what is up ahead.
Also please roll perception checks, when you state your actions are looking, searching or listening for something. You roll 1d20 + (Perception skill).

Out of Character: Sorry about that. Perception 10+8 = 18
In Character: "I don't see anything unusual" Says Pathfinder to Twilek.
The tunnel widens here into what appears to have once been a small shrine, for to the northeast steps lead up to a platform of gray stone. Sitting atop the platform is an ancient altar, little more than a jagged block of black marble with a shallow concavity on top of it. This basin is filled with what appears to be filthy water.
Erdoshanta casts Detect Magic and scans the area. If she sees something she will inform the others and concentrate on it, otherwise she will keep it active but also take care of looking around and staying safe.
Ian says: "Shouldn't water evaporate over time? This must have been poured down here recently."
Erdoshanta stops him from approaching, as she warns everyone:
"Whatever this water is, there was quite the unpleasant guardian outside, and it would be too convenient for us for this place to be empty."
She then directs Ian to search around; a commandment that he follows. Ian is feeling very anxious, but Erdoshanta shows how confident and calm she is. The only thing disturbing her is the thought of the aberration.
Ian not only searches around, but also looks for tracks.

In Character: Pathfinder stays still only keeping her crossbow in front of her in case she suddenly needs to raise it and aim. She feels like if 'disturbing' anything here might 'trigger' something. She looks on at what the others are doing.
