A lot of people enjoy having a ceiling fan in their room. Aside from the fact that it provides circulation and also cooler air in the summer time, it can also add a sense of decor to a room. Installing a ceiling fan is a relatively simple process. Here is a quick how-to for installing a ceiling fan. Have you ever installed one yourself?
Install a ceiling fan
From my previous experience with wobbling fans I recommend for ceiling that are not already cross slated to actually install a cross brace between your joists at your electrical box to allow for extra mounting area and stability. In some cases I have even installed a 2 x 4 on each side of the box junction to allow the mounts for the new ceiling fan to actually overlap the boards on either side.
