This concerns me greatly and the saddest part is that I am not surprised. Dealing with kids (not so young) I have seen the impact of them being sexually abused at home in their behavior. Definitely some of these kids have been going through that. It is so sad. I wonder how the criminal justice will handle a case such as this?

There was definitely some peer pressure involved here. I doubt 12 boys would all have mental issues from abuse at home and all be at the same playground at the same school. Most likely there were 1 or 2 boys that instigated the event and the rest followed along for whatever reason. The question about how this will be handled will be interesting to follow seeing how young they are.

How on earth could this happen? I have a six year old and I cannot imagine him conceiving doing something like this. Of course you must consider that at least some of them have no idea what they did, maybe even any concept that it was wrong. Some of them only did it because they felt they had to, peer pressure, and maybe one or two really knew what they were doing and instigated the whole thing. I will be watching to see where this goes.
