Would you add to this list?
I would probably add Ted Williams' .400 batting average in a season. People have come within 20 points or so, but I just don't see anyone maintaining a sustained hitting performance throughout the baseball season.
I do think Chamberlain's 100 point performance can be broken; Kobe was less than 20 points away from it recently. I just don't think anyone would want to break such a record, because it would take away from the team aspect of the game.
I imagine this is the US version of unbreakable records? I will add one that would rocket up to number one in the world charts.
Don Bradman's career test average of 99.94 will never be eclipsed. It is also a record that is still relevant today because cricket hasn't changed a great deal like many other sports over the past 60 years.
Yeah arvhic, unfortunately US sports seem to dominate these types of polls. A few years ago, I would have said Sober's Test Match record was unbreakable, but Lara proved that wrong.
To add yet another US sport record, I don't believe the Miami Dolphin's 17-0 NFL record will ever be broken. The Colts came pretty close last year.
