Constitution - Article Vii - Ratification

This is the seventh and final article of the United States Constitution. It outlines the process for ratifying the constitution by the states.

The ratification of the conventions of nine states, shall be sufficient for the establishment of this Constitution between the states so ratifying the same.

Ratification Vii Article Constitution

I think this is interesting since they didn't put a percentage, just the amount of states. This is an article that shows the intent for the constitution to grow and change with the country and its people. There is no way that nine states approval would be acceptable in todays country. But this article, and this constitution were based on the world they lived in, not a future world.
