Deodorant

We are creatures of smell. Their body odor can be quite strong if they do not keep themselves clean and use a deodorant. Which brand do you tend to prefer?

Mine has changed over the years - first it was Mennen now it is Airxx and Fa (from Germany). I prefer stick over roll-on and spray. I like gel, but it is too expensive and finishes way to fast.

I think I have used every brand available in the US. From solids, roll-ons, sprays, creams and pads. When I was around 35 I developed a horrible reaction to anti-perspirants. My underarms would swell up and hurt. So I went to deodorants.

There is a big difference between deodorants and anti-perspirant deodorants. Deoderants just stop/mask the odor. Anti-perspirants stop the wetness.

I could only use deodorants for about three years. Again, I had a bad reaction to them, swelling and itching.

I now use the deodorant Crystal. It is a natural alternative to conventional deodorants. The brand I use is: Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal, distributed by: TCCD International out of Pompano Beach, Florida.

I have yet to have an adverse reaction ~ except right after I shave (forgot to wait until morning). It works great! And the crystal lasts about 1 1/2 year or longer. It gradually erodes away until there is hardly anything to use.

Alternatively - in cases of very sensitive skin I use ALOE products from "Forever living products"

I am using Right Guard right now, but am not biased towards any particular one. I have used Old Spice in the past, and a couple of others. I guess whichever one has a decent price at the time. Ooops, does that make me cheap?!

I use Secret - "Strong enough for a man, but made for a women." I prefer the soft solid.

I use Dove sensitive roll on deodorant, because it doesn't affect my skin like other deodorants have in the past, it smells nice, and it works well.

It achieves everything that I look for in a deodorant!
