While the topic could have been put a little less, um, gross, it is a valid concept if you believe in evolution. There has been thought in this community that there were indeed two separate species of humans at one point, homo sapiens and the cave man species. Both originally would have spawned from homo erectus (first ape to walk on two legs) but during, before, and after, they would still have close ties with others in the ape family.
