Where are the best places for Iowa Skiing? Are there brand names of Iowa Skis that Skiers use often? Is the sport developed or unknown? Even if it is not done locally, who are the most known Iowa Skiers?

Skiing Iowa
While Iowa is not known for its large steep hills mainly because there are not any. There are a few places in the state where one can do some skiing. Fun Valley near Montezuma, Iowa is one of the places you can go ski, snowboard or tube. Sleepy Hollow on the east side of Des Moines is another place. I am sure there are some others but I know most people who wish to go skiing normally head west towards the Rockies to find a place to ski.
