COUNTRY LEGEND BILLY WALKER DIES IN CAR CRASH
Billy Walker, the Grand Ole Opry legend whose hits included "Charlie's Shoes" and "Cross the Brazos at Waco" died in a wreck along an Alabama interstate Sunday. He was 77.

Whats so sad is that it wasn't just him, it was his wife and oldest son that also died in the crash. An entire family wiped out in one swipe. While not a country fan, I got the chance to see him down in Branson Missouri and the opera house. He was definitely full of life and joy for life even though he was near seventy at the time. He will be missed in the country music industry, thats for sure.
