It seems to me like he doesn't really have much defense no matter what he says. I hope justice is served and he spends some time in a regular prison with regular inmates. Nobody has the right to treat another person like he did.
QUOTE LONDON -- Damning new footage emerged today of John Galliano hurling anti-Semitic abuse at two young women he thought were Jewish. The British fashion designer can be heard saying, "I love Hitler" in the cell-phone film, and ranting, "People like you would be dead. Your mothers, your forefathers, would all be f---ing gassed."
The bombshell video was shot in La Perle -- the same Parisian cafe where the chief designer at Christian Dior was arrested Thursday after allegedly calling another woman "a dirty Jew face" and an "ugly, disgusting whore." He is also alleged to have threatened the woman's boyfriend, saying, "F---ing Asian b-----d, I'll kill you." The couple filed a criminal complaint, accusing the tailor of "causing injury of an anti-Semitic and racist nature."
Galliano has been suspended from Dior pending an inquiry.
This morning, Gibraltar-born Galliano, 50, attended a meeting with his accusers -- identified as art historian Geraldine Bloch, 35, and Philippe Virgiti, 41 -- at a Paris police station. Both parties were given the chance to set out their account of events in front of investigators. No further information has been released about today's encounter. Source 3

AFP - John Galliano, sacked as chief designer at Christian Dior amid a furore over alleged anti-Semitic remarks, has now been fired from his eponymous label, Women's Wear Daily reported on Friday.

Flamboyant fashion designer John Galliano was found guilty Thursday in a French court on charges of making anti-Semitic comments against at least three people in a Paris cafe.
He has been fined 6,000 euros but has not been sentenced to prison time. One symbolic euro has been awarded to each plaintiff.
Galliano, who was fired by fashion giant Christian Dior in March after a video surfaced showing him praising Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, testified when the trial opened in June that drugs were to blame. Ref. CNN

Disgraced Galliano stripped of France's top honour
Disgraced British designer John Galliano has been stripped of the Legion d'Honneur, the top French medal he was awarded in 2009 for services to haute couture.
