The USA beat Venezuela in Olympic basketball by a wide margin. I saw most of the game. The Venezuelans were on par with the US in the first quarter but by the second the US took the reigns and blasted off past Venezuela half way through the second quarter. One of the reasons the Venezuelans lost was poor shooting skills but one commentator said it was because they were intimidated by the US team and ended up taking shots that they would not normally take. If you saw the game what did you think?
