INDUSTRIAL BANKS TARGETED
Some members of Congress are urging the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. to impose a moratorium on approving applications for federal deposit insurance from any new industrial loan companies owned by commercial firms.

I think that this is a good idea, at least temporarily. When trying to cut down on the national debt, its good to stop lending money in such large quantities, especially when you won't get the money for a while, if ever. If a company collapses, the loan is not required to be paid, so its just a loss to the government.
