Vampires: Dark or Alien?
Humans portray to major beliefs about Vampires in general:
1. They are dark evil creatures
2. They are a species of alien made to look evil, but their natural food is human blood
Which do you think is the correct description regardless as to whether you believe Vampires exist or not?

I would have to believe that they are a dark creature of this planet. I do not see where they would be made alien in nature at all.
Vampires are historically catalogued as nocturnal and mysterious. The thirst for blood is merely an addiction such as a fetish of sorts. This would even explain why night would be their main domain as darkness is also commonly associated with erotic tendencies.
