What a marvelous lesson for children to learn, and what a true blessing to this man! There can be nothing better than teaching children caring for others. To have them learn this mans troubles and help him in time of need will be something these children will carry with them for the rest of their lives. It obviously helped ease the pain of the victim to see that as much as someone could show disregard and hate, others can show that much kindness.
It brought tears to my eyes to read this story, what a wonderful act of compassion, charity and service. It is obvious that this little boy who started with this idea of helping this poor man has been taught good principles at home. Compassion is something we learn specially through example and I am very happy to know that a child would care this much for a total stranger. I look forward raising kids who care about others.
