This must be a thrill for the fisherman from Florida. The 1280 pound shark broke the hammerhead record made in 1982.

That is massive, I am sure his whole body hurts after such a pull. I did not know hammerheads get get that big and heavy. I do hope they utilize the meat for eating or perhaps feeding the whales at Sea World.
Hurt all over I am sure he did! I had rubber arms just from catching two Muskie back to back ( 42" and a 48") Would have loved to have been there!
I question if the big fish records will soon be unable to be broken due to over fishing in our oceans and lakes.
