NFL Hopefuls
Usually humans intrigued by American Football will watch for uprising stars currently playing in College Football. Who is your favorite prospect(s)?
Brilliant Bush Has NFL Swooning
Reggie Bush as been compared to Gale Sayers and Marshall Faulk. He's the front-runner to win the Heisman Trophy and already holds the unofficial title of "Most Exciting Player in College Football."

Reggie Bush looks to be primed to make an impact on the national stage. However, I never believe the hype until its fulfilled. Larry Johnson of the Kansas City Chiefs was take very late in the draft, yet he is becoming one of the top running backs in the league with over 800 with having only started 4 games so far. Some team will pick up Bush early, then it will be his turn to show the world what he's got.
I agree that Reggie Bush is way overrated. Now that Vince Young has declared himself eligible, I think he would be a better 1st pick than Bush. The best RB coming out of USC is not Bush, but Lendale White. He is a formidable back with vision AND speed. Plus you can rely on him for 30-40 carries. Bush is a 15 carry back at best, and will likely need to be spelled by a second back. With that being said, my pick for best prospect in the 2005 draft is a Defensive End. This guy is going to light it up in the NFL.
Mario Williams from NC State. Look out NFL!

I don't know if I would use the word overrated |
Here is a name that I have seen getting a lot of press lately. They are talking about him going #1 or #2 Defensive Tackle in the upcoming draft. His story is one of grit and determination when the odds were against him.
Florida State DT Bunkley made most of extra chance

It's not Brodrick Bunkley's move up the draft board that intrigues me most about the Florida State defensive tackle. It's that he's on the board at all and that he somehow managed to creep into the upper tier of its defensive linemen A year ago, you wouldn't have guessed it. In fact, a year ago. Brodrick Bunkley wouldn't have guessed it, either. After serving as a part-time starter in 2004, Bunkley wasn't sure when or if he'd suit up for the Seminoles again |
NFL TRAINING CAMPS: GAME OF SURVIVAL
Tom Brady is secure; so is Reggie Bush. But in 32 camps across the country, hundreds of lesser-known players are fighting for their football lives. Over the next three weeks jobs will be won or lost, careers will be made or broken. It's the unforgiving law of the NFL jungle
