The way science is moving forward who knows what they could have in 10 or 20 years from now?
'LIQUID STONE' IS A BRIGHT IDEA
It used to be only Superman who could see through concrete walls, but an exhibit at the National Building Museum shows mere mortals can do it, too.

Sorry JB, I tried viewing that link but the page could not be found. Maybe I'll try later. Yes, it is very interesting what modern science and technology has been able to provide for us these days. Just take a look at the cool forum we have to read and post too every day
Sorry, it should work now. From the above linked article:
"The translucent blocks are made by mixing glass fibers into the combination of crushed stone, cement and water, varying a process that has been used for centuries to produce a versatile building material. The process was devised by Hungarian architect Aron Losonczi in 2001."
Wow, that was an interesting article! I especially liked the points about the new hybrid concrete formulas being stronger and more flexible. Imagine how using this as a building material could help folks living in earth quake prove areas!

I think the best thing I took away from this is the possibility of not having to endure another summer of road construction! Out were I live, off a main interstate, they replace the highway every three years. If they were to use some of these new hybrid concretes, they would be able to avoid it because they could make concrete roads that won't crack and sink! Not only would this save tax dollars, it would make drivers much happier. I think I saw one of the new types of concrete that also absorb emissions and put out oxygen. Concrete that cleans the air? Wow!
