Idealism

I think this picture makes sense because ideals rarely merge with reality or realism. Idealism is a pretty picture you make and strive for, but something that can rarely be achieved. Idealist usually fail to see the reality of life or their situation a continue to blindly work towards their ideals. When someones ideal situation finally becomes reality, its never like they expected it to be and they are let down. Idealism is good to have as long as it is kept in perspective to reality. Its great to work towards world peace as long as you understand what that would entail and the very slim possibility of it happening.

I disagree with the picture. Though it's true that ideals are not always realized, without them we have nothing to work toward accomplishing. Ideals are like goals and are necessary for us to better ourselves.
