Vision

Vision is a trait that, in my opinion, very few people have. Yes, employers love to hear that one has vision, but true vision allows one to see beyond what is already out there, and come up with ideas that help improve a process or creates new processes. I do not condone someone simply saying they have vision when in reality they don't. On the other hand, how would one measure vision, ie if a candidate says they have vision, how do you measure that?

Vision

This picture and caption seems to illustrate someone who is just looking to get ahead at the expense of his integrity, by saying whatever his boss wants to hear. A follower has pretended vision, a leader has true vision.

Vision is one of the those traits everyone wishes they had, but few do. If you want to see someone with true vision, look to where they have been and what they have done. A true visionary does not claim to have a future vision, he acts on it.
