Correct Philosophy

Do you believe that there is such a thing as 'Correct Philosophy'? If so, then how would 'Incorrect Philosophy' be defined and differentiated?

I don't believe that there is something so defined as 'correct philosophy'. There very concept goes against the greatest philosophers the world has known. Because indeed, every philosopher considers their philosophy to be the correct philosophy. If philosophy was so absolute, it would be science and not philosophy in my opinion.

I totally agree. Plus if there were only one "correct philosophy" then we would be less unique as individuals. Even if several people have the same "philosophy" they still are not "the same". We each have our own views and values and even if it is just a little bit, our philosophies are each different.

This depends on what you mean by "correct philosophy" if you are asking is there "A" correct philosophy then the answer is no there is not. However there are certain rules of logic which require that certain ideas and views not conflict. For instance to say C necessarily follows A and B is correct. If A and B do not point to C then that would be an incorrect form of logic and thus incorrect philosophy. These are things that are taught in intro philosophy classes and critical reasoning classes in college and are what makes the difference between those "interested" in philosophy and those that might be considered "philosophers."

I would say that the only incorrect philosphy is one that is quickly and ignorantly formed.

something like this cannot be limited by rules of whats is and isn't "correct" because that would allow certain types of people to control reality, mostly politicians and lawyers.
