My review on this movie: Today my Father, my brother, and I have watched this animated movie called 'The Croods'. It is about a prehistoric family (A Mom and a Dad of 1 Daughter (Teen probably), 1 Son, 1 baby girl, and a grandmother) Who lived a very boring and rough life, they have to go though a hard routine. They have to stay in a cave with a rock blocking it because the Father doesn't want the big creatures outside to go and eat the family, but, they need to eat and drink to survive.
So, the family will have to go outside, (probably everyday) and look for food, sometimes they go and hunt for meat, or they go and steal a bird's egg and you know what? When they steal the egg, they crack it and everyone drinks the yolk of the egg, - YUCK!
So when sunset comes, the Croods go back to their cave and rest there, and they probably stay there for days! The teen daughter, gets tired of the routine and she wants to see something new, you know, she wants a new life, but somehow, the Father doesn't want that, so he tries to do little stuff for her to have a 'change of heart' but he was unsuccessful. But when a teen boy named 'Guy' comes to the picture, and after a while he proves that the Father should change the Family's life and his own too. But if you want to see what happens in the end, you can watch the movie "The Croods".
Pros: I have to admit this is a very good movie! It has lots of funny scenes in the movie, it is mostly about the Croods behavior over things. It is good that they compared the modern man (Guy in the movie, who is the modern man but not seem to be viewed in that way) with the prehistoric man.
Cons: The only problem I don't get is the ground and the sand's color, you see, the Croods sometimes use sand or ground to draw things on rocks right? So why the ground marks or sand marks on the rocks looks like gore? Is it because the color of the sand or the ground has a color that is too reddish?
The Croods - Animated Movie (Hover)
The Croods is a prehistoric comedy adventure that follows the world's first family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always shielded them from danger is destroyed. Traveling across a spectacular landscape, the Croods discover an incredible new world filled with fantastic creatures - and their outlook is changed forever.
Felipe did a great review of the movie. The Croods had me laughing and even almost crying (But I didn't). There are good lessons in this movie about love, family, togetherness, loyalty and a whole bunch more, a must watch!
