Comments: Is there such a thing as very high functioning autism that is higher than high functioning autism? I guess I am asking if someone can be higher functioning than the rest of high functioning autistic persons?

Autism in itself is a very broad spectrum so even if many in one group are labelled "high functioning" you will see some achieving more than others but this is also true of avergae folks as well as in any classroom you have those that excel, those that make an average grade and so on.
