Which One Is Worst?

Is Drinking Alcohol or Smoking the worst of the two?

Worst One Which

Drinking is definitely the worse of the two. The reason is that drinking effects more than just you. When you have had to much to drink, you can mistreat and even abuse people because you are drunk. Drunk drivers can kill people and often do while remaining with little injury themselves. Drinking overall hurts the person drinking less, but hurts others more which makes it more dangerous in my opinion.

Very good points Kon, but I am not sure if I agree with this:

Smoking affects others too and when you are not a smoker and there may be someone around you who is constantly smoking you may end up sick with lung cancer and later on dead.

Worst One Which

I believe smoking to be worse than drinking although not by much because they both can cause problems. I've seen people get so drunk as to leave their pants down while they were talking to other people after going to the restroom. Now as for smokers I've seen it get bad enough for the house to appear to be on fire.

Worst One Which

Both are physically harmful but drinking is worse, because it changes a persons personality. A smoker can do physical damage to others with second hand smoke but this isn't as bad as the emotional, phycological, and spiritual damage which can be done to the loved ones of an alcoholic.

Which One Is Worst?

They're both bad, but I would have to go with smoking being slightly worse than drinking alcohol.
There are really bad cases of abuse from partners who are alcoholics, and I agree that there are quite a high number of drunken driving incidents, but in my opinion, passive smoking that can lead to an individual getting cancer is really bad too.
I think it is not highlighted as much because their death is a long slow lingering death, and not instantaneous as a car accident is, but still equally there are grieving family members left to mourn.
I have seen several times, people in their last moments dying an agonising death from cancer, and it is really horrible.
Sadly it is affecting more and more people, even people who gave up smoking years earlier do not seem to be escaping this evil illness.
