ABORIGINAL CHILD'S REMAINS BEING RETURNED BY MUSEUM
The remains of an aboriginal child that have been on display at a private museum in the Vancouver Island community of Ladysmith are being returned to the nearby Chemainus First Nation.

I suppose it would be rather uncomfortable to find the remains of someone from my tribe on display in a museum. On the other hand, it would help spread the education about my people and past by allowing our heritage to be put on display. Its a situation in which both the museum and the tribe are correct in wanting the body, they both have a real good reason to want it. However, the tribe should have final claim to it, this is the right thing.
