President Manuel Zelaya on Sunday said the United States' move to indefinitely suspend appointments for Hondurans to request U.S. visas was "unjust, rude and arbitrary."

I am all about the laws of this country being followed. Thus, if we set certain requirements for entering the country, and you as a country just simply refuse to follow the, then its justified to not allow visa applications. I understand why the leader of Honduras is so upset, but why not just enforce the laws they already have instead of simply letting them slip because its convenient?
Wow! We fully agree!
It sounds like Honduras is trying to fix their problems. I hope that they can.
Now, if only we would take a similar hard line with some other countries, like M....

Honduran leader forced into exile!

Looks like the Honduran Supreme Court didn't appreciate their ruling being ignored and potentially over-ruled with new legislation to get a president hold office as long as they can get elected. According to the story, President Zelaya was forced into exile by the military under the orders of the Supreme Court.
Understandably, Hugo Chavez is upset because he basically wants to do the same thing and is a buddy with President Zelaya. Zelaya has moved away from traditional friendly relations with the US.
Currently, Zelaya has been force to Costa Rica where he still claims to remain the President.

I think before '81 there were a lot of military regime changes as it was run by military dictatorship for the longest time since it became a separate country. However, after '81, the country has been under a elected government - that is until now.
