CONNECTICUT MAYOR HOPES TO KEEP JOB AFTER USING COCAINE
Mayor John M. Fabrizi admitted Tuesday he had abused cocaine while in office and said he wanted to apologize "to all the people of the city" but had no plans to resign.

John Fabrizi needs to go talk to former Washington D.C. Mayor Marion Barry. I believe he not only stayed in office, but got re-elected while using cocaine. One normally expects more of our officials, but I'm not sure why. I have learned that our elected officials are the same as us only with more power and money. Their character before they are officials will necessarily indicate their character after their election. If you can't live with that, then you shouldn't elect them. I will wait to see if this mayor gets re-elected, to see if these residents are smarter.
