Officer flees from chainsaw and bats

A policeman answering a call to a domestic dispute was forced to retreat after allegedly being threatened by a man with a chainsaw and by his two young sons with baseball bats. Ref. Source 4

Case Bats Chainsaw

That man and his sons are lucky that they live in another country besides the US. If someone made a threat like that to a american police officer he would find himself shot or worse. The sons would be in juvenile detention.

I believe the officer did the correct thing in this case and called for backup.

I am glad the woman was helped and made a safe place before the husband did a very foolish act. The office did the right thing retreated to a safe place with the woman till help could come. After all shooting all three really was not an appropriate action unless things got worse.
