Why Do People Become Offended? - Page 3

Oh, a difficult question… In general, I would say no.
I can say from my own experience that I am easily offended because I am unfortunately quite sensitive. Before I can even rationally process what was said (E.g. Criticism) I already feel the pain (Sometimes it literally feels like a stab in the heart). That practically means I feel before I think. And I think I'm not the only person who experiences it this way…

Offended People Why

Sensitivity does lead to being offended unless you can fine tune what you are sensitive to. You know that saying, "Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me." I know it sounds easier than it is in real life but the truth is you cannot allow what people say and do to affect your own world the same way you won't let strangers in your own home.
